Turtle vs. Rabbit

It all started last year when Jayme Phillips made comments about a picture on this website of David Smith dressed in an Easter Bummy costume for WRSL radio.

Challenges were made and ultimately a race for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life was held.  They (Jayme as Turtle and David as the Rabbit) held another charity race on Saturday, May 30th on Main Street in Stanford.

Through a bit of chicanery, Rabbit won this year's race but we all won by raising $770 for the American Cancer Society.  If you would like to donate to this very worthwhile charity, please contact Renee Knies at (606) 365-2126.

Jammin' With Jayme & Richard

Recently, Adult Quest Daycare resident Richard Brown visited the WPBK-FM studios where he was interviewed on the air and was given a personalized WPBK-FM T-shirt.

Richard is a self-described DJ and hosts the "More Music Morning Show" from a card table at the adult daycare center.

The pictures below show Richard with Jayme Phillips, Renee Knies and Rory Cundiff; Richard with Jayme and then Richard by himself.

For Christmas, our staff presented Richard with a new table-top stereo system so he can keep the music flowing and keep entertaining the other daycare residents.

Associate of Mr. Big Visits Again

The Associate of Mr. Big made another appearance on WPBK-FM's Jammin' With Jayme Morning Show on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.  This mystery guest, and his entourage, continues to puzzle our staff.
